Biography
Alina Vrânceanu is a María Zambrano Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Department of Political and Social Sciences. She previously held a Research Fellow position (2020-2022) and a Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow position (2018-2020) at the European University Institute. Alina received her PhD in Political and Social Sciences from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in November 2018. Her research interests lie at the intersection between political behaviour, comparative politics and research methods. She is particularly interested in preference formation, political representation, mass-elite linkages (with a focus on immigration). She has published in several international political science journals such as West European Politics, Party Politics, Journal of Elections, Public Opinion and Parties, and contributed to edited volumes.
