Biography
Tobias Grohmann is a Research Fellow at the Migration Policy Centre of the European University Institute, where he is affiliated with the MIGMOBS project (ERC AdG). He is a contributor to the MPC’s Global Mobilities Project. His research interests lie in the intersections of migration, mobility, inequality, culture, policy, and identity. He conducts theory-based, empirical research using econometric and experimental methods.
Previously, he was a Lecturer at the Department of Economics, Econometrics, and Finance of the University of Groningen (NL). He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Groningen and an MA and BA in Philosophy and Economics from the University of Bayreuth (DE). For more information, see his personal website.
