Kseniya Homel-Ficenes

Kseniya Homel-Ficenes  is a doctoral candidate in Sociology (Institute of Applied Social Science, University of Warsaw). She is also an associate member of the Center of Migration Research. In 2018 - 2022 she worked as a researcher at the Institute of Public Affairs. Her PhD research is about female migrant agency and self-organisational practices. Kseniya focuses on gender aspects of organisational patterns, female empowerment, social action and networking. She is also involved into the research of Belarusian diaspora activities and two research projects on migration infrastructure.
